1997 MacHack Sponsors

• Apple Computer, Inc's local office sponsored some Macs in our machine room, Engineering is sending lots of people, and Evangelism is sponsoring the conference bags and the fanny packs.
  
  
• APS Technologies will be bringing a bunch of computers and other products to help keep the machine room running.
  
  
• Be, Inc will be providing pizza for the keynote, as well as a copy of BeOS for all attendees
  
  
• Developer Depot(tm) is co-sponsoring the Ice Cream Social after the movie Saturday night and is providing 5 coupons for 10% off a Developer Depot order.
  
  
• Farallon will be providing Ethernet hubs, Ethernet transceivers, PhoneNET connectors, and other products to help keep the network running.
  
  
• The MacHax(TM) Group, hosts of the MacHack Hack contest.
  
  
• The Mac Group, hosts of the MacHack Web Site.
  
  
• MacTech(tm) Magazine is co-sponsoring the Ice Cream Social after the movie Saturday night and is providing a FREE copy of MacTech Magazine to every attendee. They will also be giving away 5 one-year MacTech subscriptions, and 5 MacTech CDs.
  
  
• Metrowerks will be providing copies of CodeWarrior Gold available on all the Macs in the machine room, to help write that winning hack. They will also be providing pizza during the hack contest, as well as sponsoring the movie Saturday night. We'll be seeing Batman and Robin, so don't watch it before you get here. As if that wasn't enough, they will be giving away 5 copies of CodeWarrior Pro, and 5 copies of CodeWarrior for BeOS!
  
  
• Mindvision will be sponsoring our internet connection (a T1 this year). Thanks!
  
  
• Microsoft will be providing NT machines, Powermac 8600s, and pizza for the "Bash Apple" session. They also will be giving away "some prizes".
  
  
• Micheal Rutman of Manic Moose Consulting is bringing 100 lbs of pistachios.
  
  
• Motorola will be providing six StarMax machines with monitors for the machine room.
  
  
• Roaster Technologies will be providing copies of Roaster for use in the machine room, and giving away 5 copies.
  
  
• Scientific Placement, Inc will be providing snacks throughout the conference.
  
  
• Symantec will sponsoring the early morning breakfasts. They will also be providing copies of Visual Cafe and Visual Page for the machine room, as well as sending copies (and t-shirts!) to give away as prizes.
  
  
• Viewsonic will be providing 15 21" monitors and 15 17" monitors for the machine room. That's 570 monitor-inches!
