10. For that kind of money I can renew ETO.

9. Most of the hacks will be commercial products in 18 months anyway.

8. Who cares about system software?

7. Too busy coding around Pentium bugs.

6. If I need contacts, I go to Bauch & Lomb(TM).

5. Too many distraction in Michigan.

4. Who needs SmartFriends(TM), I have 27 volumes of Inside Mac.

3. WWDC answers all my questions.

2. If I wanted to stay up all night looking at flaky software, I'd be programming Windows.

And the number one reason not to attend MacHack...

1. I *like* marketing.
